Even The Birds Would Not Sing

A tale from the life of Carl Jung...

Catherine Austin Fitts, the economist, President of Solari Inc. and former Assistant Secretary of HUD in the elder Bush administration relates a very interesting story from the life of Carl Jung and a noblewoman who came to him for help.

Jung, one of the founding fathers of psychoanalysis, was a true Renaissance man, whose interests ranged from the mysteries of  the collective unconsciousness to synchronicity (the acausal connecting principle) to archaeology and even UFOS.

But one of the strangest and most intriguing experiences of his life occurred when a European aristocrat sought his help. The woman, who would not reveal her name to him, because of the circumstances was very well-to-do, a member of the upper class, and a practicing physician.

She told Jung, that she had fallen in love with the husband of her best friend, and because of her medical expertise and wealth, she was able to poison her best friend, and make the death look like it had come about naturally and get away with it.

She then went on to marry the man she coveted and in time had a child with him.

Then karma struck.

Her prized wolfhound died. Her horses reacted to her as if she was now a stranger. Colleagues and others began to avoid her. Her husband divorced her. The child they had together would no longer speak to her. Even the birds would not sing in her presence.

She came to Jung to confess and cleanse her soul, a soul that was being eaten away by the original sin of murder.

Did she eventually make peace with herself and the overriding sense of Karma? Jung does not say, but one hopes the woman eventually found forgiveness and hope.
